France
France is a spectacular country full of beauty and a dedication to preserving culture and tradition. Home to the city of love, the French Alps and perhaps the best wine growing regions in the world, it is a place I love to be.
Chamonix
If you took all the things in the world that I enjoy and gave it a name, it would be Chamonix. This place is everything.
Burgundy
Visiting Burgundy was always a dream for me and that dream has come true. Seeing the vineyards, touching the soil and drinking the wines while there is a must for wine lovers.
Champagne
I took a luxury wine tour here from Paris and it was worth every penny. The tour started at Tattinger then on to a Grand Cru house where the family prepared us lunch and served a copious amount of bubbles. A few more stops and we were back in Paris, it was a great day.
Nice & Menton
We arrived in Nice on foot. Not the way most arrive to enjoy the south of France, but we're not like most people. Nice is the end point of the GR5 which we started on the southeastern end of Lake Geneva. Approaching the sea after hiking for 30 days was a sight we won't soon forget and celebrating our accomplishment in Nice and Menton was a perfect end to an epic trip.
